Semen Gresik Wins 2 Best Awards in Anugerah BUMN 2023 in Jakarta
Rembang, March 16, 2023 – PT Semen Gresik again obtained outstanding achievements by winning two awards in the 12th Anugerah BUMN of 2023 by BUMN Track, an event which was held in Puri Agung Convention Hall, Grand Sahid Jaya, Jakarta, on March 15, 2023.
The awards were accepted directly by the President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Mr. Subhan, who accepted CEO Terbaik (Best CEO) award in the Business Strategy Formulation Excellent category and Anak Perusahaan BUMN Terbaik (Best BUMN Subsidiaries) award in Governance, Risk, and Compliance Excellent category.
Subhan stated that these accomplishments were successfully achieved thanks to the synergy of various lines of the company. In facing diverse challenges and the dynamics of business, particularly in Indonesia’s cement industry, there was a need to have specific, excellent strategic initiatives.
“We are grateful, and we want to express our appreciation to everyone who has taken part in supporting the growth of the company sustainably,” Subhan explained in his press release (16/3).
Subhan added that PT Semen Gresik was committed to continuously making improvements with business innovations, organizational transformations, the application of an excellent talent management system, and consistent implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
“We will continue to give our best efforts for the sustainability of the company’s business processes and best service for stakeholders, employees, and definitely for the public overall,” Subhan ended his statement.
Meanwhile, the CEO of BUMN Track, SH Sutarto, explained that as many as 104 BUMN companies participated in Anugerah BUMN 2023. The number grew smaller to 73 companies that passed the second stage of the selection process, a corporate presentation. Meanwhile, 45 President Directors of BUMNs and BUMN subsidiaries competed for the Best CEO award through interviews in the third stage of the judging process.
“With Anugerah BUMN 2023, BUMN Track as a Press Council-verified media seeks to communicate the accomplishments of BUMN’s best performance from the scopes of transformation strategies, innovations, talent management, implementation of corporate governance, to the development of UMKM,” SH Sutarto stated.
